Symmetry puts its Dynamic Positioning system on display at the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference 2008

Symmetry, part of Oceaneering International, announced today that it will showcase its IDP - Intelligent Dynamic Positioning System at the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference 2008 in pavilion 3, booth J43. The Rio Oil & Gas Expo is being held September 15 - 18 in the Riocentro convention center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The company will make the DP simulator available to the public. Visitors will receive mini-trainings and be able to use the system in various sea and river conditions. Symmetry will also be introducing the newest version of Precisenav, software for navigation and survey.  Along with the booth, the Company will also be presenting the results and lessons learned during the development of a Dynamic Position control system for a large barge convoy in the Parana-Paraguay River project on September 18th, in Pavilion 5 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
